Gutter Downspouts and Extensions

Phenomenal. Nick (the owner) could not be a nicer and more knowledgeable guy. He really knows his stuff. I've had my experience with Drain My Lawn and also one other leading drainage company in Charlotte and my experiences were night and day. Highly, highly recommend. Just watch his YouTube videos and you'll see what a nice and extremely knowledgeable guy he is. I highly doubt you'll find another drainage company as good as this in Charlotte. You will be glad you called them!

Showed up when scheduled, completed work on time and clean-up was exceptional. Very good job.

I highly recommend Drain My Lawn . Kenneth came out to look at my gutter drain problem and put together a very thorough plan for a fix that would correct all the issues that had built up over time. Provided a very detailed estimate along with a video of the problem areas and planned corrections. Price was very reasonable. Cody came out and completed the project in an outstanding manner. Replaced old root filled drain pipes with better new ones. Took great care to ensure everything was better than new and that I was satisfied with the work. Job was done perfectly from initial contact through completion. Very, very happy with the project. They do great work!

Ken, Cody and Jack did an amazing job with our backyard! We have had a drainage problem for years that has become more of an issue after several factors and had to be remediated. Ken came in an assesed the issues, worked up an affordable design and got the crew lined up within a few weeks to execute. Cosy and Jack worked hard in the high temperatures and didn't miss the smallest details. They were polite, friendly and thourough in explaining what they were doing through the process. We had a decent amount of rain yesterday and last night and the ground was firm and no standing water! I couldnt be happier partnering with Drain My Lawn to get the job done. They did it right and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to remediate a drainage problem at a reasonable price. Well done guys!

We have worked with Nick from Drain My Lawn twice now and he was extremely helpful both times. Will use them again if we have any further drainage issues.

These guys did an amazing job designing and building a drainage solution for our recurring lawn flooding issue. They were very communicative during the process and delivered in a timely fashion. I would recommend if you want your job done right the first time.

I had what I thought was a grading problem that might need French drains. Nick came and diagnosed it as something completely different, and essentially solved the problem for no cost. In the future, we will need French drains, and I will definitely be using this company. Good people and honest work.

If you're planning any work on your property, take the time to read this! Before I tell you about our experience with Drain My Lawn, I need to share the story that led us to them. For over 10 years, we've dealt with massive amounts of water flowing onto our property from a neighboring home that sits much higher than ours. The damage was extensive—our backyard was constantly saturated, our garage flooded, moisture seeped through downstairs walls, cracks developed upstairs from shifting, and our garages stayed perpetually damp, causing rust on nearly everything stored inside. Over the years, we explored countless solutions, from pipes between properties to swales and other drainage systems. We received wildly different proposals and prices, leaving us unsure who was being honest or capable of solving the problem. After several disappointing contractor experiences, we eventually gave up. And let's be honest—nobody wants to spend money on drainage issues. As our problems continued, I searched for a company that specialized in drainage and found Drain My Lawn with outstanding reviews. I thought, "Let's try one more time." Nick came out almost immediately and carefully evaluated every issue we discussed. It was clear we had a major problem that required a major solution. He returned with a comprehensive plan and patiently answered all of our questions. Sometimes you simply know when you're dealing with the right person and company. That's exactly how we felt about Nick. Here are some of the things that stood out during the 2½ weeks it took to complete our project: • Materials arrived quickly, and that's when we met Evan, one of the owners, who personally unloaded long drainage pipes onto our property. • The crew showed up on time every single sweltering day. Reliable contractors are worth their weight in gold, and this team was dependable from start to finish. • Every member of the crew was incredibly polite, professional, and respectful. The scope of work was extensive: • All gutters were rerouted into larger drainage pipes servicing the backyard. • A 12-inch drainage pipe was installed across the entire front yard, requiring a section of our driveway to be cut and replaced. • Additional pipes were installed beneath the walkway to connect front gutters into the new system. • The front yard was regraded away from the house, lined with a barrier, and finished with river rock. • A significant French drain issue beneath our home was addressed so water would no longer flow under the house like a small river. • A 330-foot berm with pond liner and riprap stone was installed between our property and our neighbor's, directing water toward a creek at the rear of our lot. The goal was simple: move water away from our home—and they accomplished it beautifully. The results were fantastic. All removed landscaping and debris were meticulously cleaned up and hauled away. Evan and his foreman, Cody—another outstanding, polite young man—checked in with us at the beginning and end of every day. Any concerns were addressed immediately. We were also impressed to see younger interns working alongside the crew, learning the value of hard work and professionalism. Evan spent hours ensuring every detail was completed correctly, cleaning our large driveway, inspecting the project thoroughly, and leaving our property spotless. My husband and I only wish more contractors operated with the same integrity, work ethic, professionalism, and kindness as Drain My Lawn. By the time the project was complete, we actually missed seeing them each day! Thank you, Nick, Evan, Cody, and the entire crew. You not only solved a decade-long problem but made the entire experience a pleasure. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Drain My Lawn to anyone facing drainage issues. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our HOA hired DML to address some long standing drainage issues around the community center. DML came up with a site design that helped us mitigate existing drainage, standing water, and ru-off issues. The DML site team performed their work in a professional manner paying attention to the need to keep the facility available to residents while accomplishing their work.

Our home has an iron filter in our crawl space that flushes out a large volume of water each day as part of a daily backwash. The water was splashing up against our foundation, and we hired Drain My Lawn to divert the water away from our foundation. Nick and his team installed an underground pipe which leads to a pop-up emitter approximately 5 feet away from our foundation. This ended up being a very cost effective solution to ensure our foundation is protected from a high volume of splashing and pooling water. The folks at Drain My Lawn know what they’re doing, and you can tell they love coming up with solutions for their customers. Highly recommend the team at Drain My Lawn.

My mom and I were very happy with the repairs of our fence. Nick came and was very professional and explained all of the work that was done. Thanks for all you do.

I bought some drain lines from Drain My Lawn for my DYI project. Nick not only sold the product at a fair price, he also gave me advice on how to complete my project. Class person to deal with!!!!

Would highly recommend based on courtesy, professionalism and honesty. Nick retuned my call promptly, Kenneth made a same-day visit to assess. Told me he felt strongly it was not a drainage issue but rather a groundwater/irrigation system issue. And it was. Did not end up needing to use Drain My Lawn services but definitely would if needed.

Kenneth from Drain My Lawn came over and provided a very professional proposal, clearly explaining everything that would be done. The entire team was respectful, professional, and did excellent work. I highly recommend their services!

After extensive research and comparing quotes from several companies, we decided to hire Drain My Lawn, and we’re very happy with our choice. We thought that the value they offered, the quality of the materials, and the install itself were an optimal combination for something as important as getting a new French drain installed. Kenneth, Evan, Cody, Jacob, and Vincent were an excellent team! They were very responsive throughout the project, accommodating, and transparent. Their friendliness and deep knowledge of their subject matter, made us feel at ease and confident in our decision. We will be using them again for future projects and recommending to our neighbors!

We didn't end up using their services due to our own budget restraints but the quote they provided us was invaluable! Keith went above and beyond.

Ivan was professional, respectful. I appreciate that he kept all the process low key. He took his time to inspect the problems thoroughtly and fix them effectively.
